WHEATLAND, MO (March 26th, 2015) – The richest and largest Dirt Late Model event in the State of Missouri, the 23rd Annual Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 Presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com is now less than 60 days away! The 23rd edition of the event held annually on Memorial Day Weekend, will take place on May 21st-23rd at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri.

2014 Show-Me 100 Winner and Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Champion Don O’Neal is set to defend his Show-Me 100 title as he brings his high powered Clint Bowyer Motorsports Team back in 2015 as he hopes to withstand the challenges of Jimmy Owens, Scott Bloomquist, Earl Pearson Jr.. Steve Francis, Terry Phillips, Chad Simpson, Eddie Carrier Jr., and more of the top stars in dirt late model racing!

Any remaining reserved seat tickets not sold as 2-day tickets prior to the event will be available for purchase as single-day reserved seat tickets for $35 on Friday, May 22nd and $40 on Saturday, May 23rd.

This is surely one you won’t want to miss! This Crown Jewel Event features the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the Lucas Oil MLRA battling for 100 Laps and a $30,000 to win top prize. Activities get underway on Thursday night with the 2nd Annual Lucas Oil MLRA “Cowboy Classic” honoring longtime racer and MLRA Owner/Official Allen “Cowboy” Chancellor. The 45-lap main event pays $5,045 to win and $545 to start as “Cowboy” campaigned the number 45 throughout his racing career. Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Scott Bloomquist captured the inaugural version of the event in 2014.

The tire rule for the race will be the same as the Show-Me 100, providing a valuable chance for the Late Model Drivers to dial in their set-ups prior to Friday’s Show-Me 100 qualifying. The USRA Modifieds will also compete on Thursday at the Diamond of Dirt Tracks. The Modified main event will pay $500 to win on Thursday night. A $500 bonus courtesy of Kenny’s Tile Racing will also be awarded to the winner of Thursday night’s MLRA Main Event on top of the posted winner’s share of $5,045.

Friday night will feature time trials and (6) heat races for the Super Late Models, plus the Race of Champions and the Hot Rod Tracker Late Model Manufacturers Dash. The top three finishers in each heat race will move on to Saturday night’s main event. The balance of the field in each of the heats will move on to the Super Late Model consolation events on Saturday night. The Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds will be featured as the support class and will run their qualifying heat races and pole dash for Saturday’s $1,000 to win, $150 to start Main Event.

On Saturday night, Consolation events and the $2,000 to win/$250 to start Midwest Sheet Metal Show-Me Challenge Non-Qualifiers Feature, will be held for the Super Late Models prior to the 100 Lap Show-Me 100 taking center stage. A $500 bonus courtesy of Kenny’s Tile Racing will also be awarded to the winner of Saturday night’s Show-Me 100 Main Event on top of the posted winner’s share of $30,000.

The Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds will cap off the weekend action as the Top Modified Drivers in the region race for $1,000 to win presented by www.Racindirt.com.
