ALEXANDER, AR (January 12, 2011) - 15 year-old, Drew Armstrong from Alexander, Arkansas, who pilots the #01a Armstrong Auto-Sports/Larry Shaw Open Wheel Modified, attended the I-30 Speedway banquet over the weekend and was recognized for his 2010 achievements. Drew and Armstrong Motorsports attended the 2010 I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) point's banquet on Saturday night. Drew was recognized for finishing 7th in the track's final Open Wheel Modified standings. However, he received another award that he was not expecting as he was presented with the track's Rookie of the Year honors for 2010. This award was extremely special for the team, and just gives Armstrong more motivation as he prepares for an exciting 2011 campaign! Drew is currently waiting on the various schedules to be released for tracks and series in 2011, but plans to expand the extent of his racing travels.
