Holley pays $5,700 in cash bonuses to IMCA drivers

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (Dec. 15) – Holley Performance paid $5,700 in cash bonuses, in addition to giving a generous number of product awards, to top eligible drivers in four IMCA divisions this season. 

Checks totaling $4,000 were mailed to second through fifth place finishers in each of the five IMCA Modified regions and $900 went to fourth through 10th place finishers in the two IMCA Sunoco Stock Car regions. 

Drivers finishing second through fifth in national Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Chassis Southern SportMod standings earned shares of an $800 payout.

All drivers were required to compete with Holley-manufactured carburetors and return sign-up forms to the IMCA home office. Stock Car drivers were also required to display two Holley decals on their race cars. 

Modified drivers receiving carburetors were Zane DeVilbiss of Farmington, N.M., J.J. Wise of Manly, Iowa, Dylan Smith of Osceola, Neb., Keith White of Little River Academy, Texas, and Mike Smith of Arkport, N.Y.

$350 checks went to Tim Ward of Gilbert, Ariz., Adam Larson of Ames, Iowa, Jeremy Frenier of Fort Morgan, Colo., Chase Jupe of West, Texas, and Kevan Cook of Constantia, N.Y.

Recipients of $200 checks were Randy Artz of Battle Mountain, Nev., Dustin Smith of Lake City, Iowa, Jared Hoefelman of Columbus, Neb., Gabe Tucker of Carbon, Texas, and Chris Fleming of Union Springs, N.Y.

Drivers getting $100 each included Cory Sample of Winnemucca, Nev., Jason Noll of El Mirage, Ariz., Jerry Luloff of Independence, Iowa, Patrick Flannagan of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Wade Cross of Phillips, Neb., Corey Lagroon of Salina, Kan., Tommy Fain of Abilene, Texas, Matt Winnett of Colbert, Okla., Mike Wilmot of Windsor, N.Y., and Eddie Sites of Monroeton, Pa.

Stock Car drivers receiving carburetors were Keith White, Jason Batt of Harker Heights, Texas, Rex Higgins of Bloomfield, N.M., Jason Schoenberger of Gorham, Kan., Mike Nichols of Harlan, Iowa, and Donavon Smith of Lake City, Iowa.

Duain Pritchett of Combine, Texas, Cary White of Lamesa, Texas, Damon Murty of Chelsea, Iowa, and Derek Green of Granada, Minn., each earned $100.

Trent Murphy of Jefferson, Iowa, David Smith of Lake City, Iowa, Chad Palmer of Renwick, Iowa, Ken Tietz of Belle Plaine, Minn., Jeff Tubbs of Colby, Kan., Matt Guillaume of Tomball, Texas, Steffan Carey of Bloomfield, N.M., Robin Batt of Harker Heights, Texas, Keith Cagle of Odonnell, Texas, and Dennis Bissonnette of Stephenville, Texas, each got $50.

SportMod drivers Bryan LaRiviere of Wichita, Kan., and Tom Earl Jr. of Haslet, Texas, both earned carburetors.

Tyler Frye of Belleville, Kan., and Ronnie Welborn of Princeton, Texas, pocketed $175 checks. Kyle Prauner of Norfolk, Neb., and Randy Doyle of Killeen, Texas, both earned $125.

Drivers getting $50 each were Greg Sidles of Emmetsburg, Iowa, Eric Arneson of Oconto Falls, Wis., Julie Boettler of Farmington, N.M., and Cory Williams of Slaton, Texas.

“Considering the vast majority of our drivers use Holley products, this is a great way for them to give back at the end of the season,” said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “Award programs like Holley’s really catch the attention of racers when they get the check in the mail.”
