LEBANON, MO (January 12, 2011) - Officials at the Lebanon Midway Speedway have announced their Tentative Schedule for the 2011 Racing Season with something for everyone at the track that is run for family fun. The 2011 regular season will feature B-Mods, Factory Stocks, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks and the ever growing Midwest Modified in the season long chase for the Championship. 2 practice dates are scheduled for March 19&25 allowing drivers a chance to test-and tune before the upcoming season. This will be open to any Stock Car class. The season will begin with the running of the 2nd annual Spring Fling on April 1st and 2nd.This 2 day event will feature action for the B-Mods,Factory Stocks, Stree tStocks, Pure Stocks and Midwest Modz. Friday night will feature qualifying heats and pole dashes for those classes while Sat Night april 2nd will feature any last chance races needed and feature events. Sat April 2nd will also see the A-Mods join in the action as they compete for a $500 to win event while they time trial,run heats and a feature event. Last season over 80 race teams competed in this event. The season long chase for the Championship starts on Friday night April 8th with all 5 classes running as the battle runs through Sept 30 with the season championships. April 22nd will find the first scheduled fan interaction event as an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids 10 and Under.April 29th will see the B-Mods compete for a $500 to win event while drivers in that class will recieve bonus points for competing that evening. May 13th will feature a fan autograph session at intermission as May 27th sees the popular FactoryStocks battling for a $500 to win feature.June 10th the kids get their chance to race on the Midway clay with kids Bike Races scheduled for those 10 and Under while June 24th the StreetStocks go head to head in a $300 to win feature. Friday Night July 1st the Speedway will present a fun filled family night as the annual Fireworks show will help to highlight the racing action.July 15th-the final on track autograph session will see the fans getting a chance to get up close and personal with their favorite drivers. Thursday Night July 28th and Friday Night July 29th will be the 2nd annual Hot Summer Nights with B-Mods,FactoryStocks and StreetStocks highlighting the event.Thursday Night will feature Time Trials and the 2nd annual double-elimination Bracket competition while Friday night will feature qualifying heats and feature for those 3 classes along with a regular points show for the Purestocks and Midwest Modz.The overall winner will be determined by total points in Thursday Qualifying,the tournament-Friday Night heat races and feature finishes. Thursday Night Aug 11th-the Cars and Stars of MARS returns to the action track for the running of the Larry Phillips Birthday Bash as the Super Latemodels make their only apperance of the 2011 season along with regular points races for B-Mods,FactoryStocks,StreetStocks and PureStocks-there will be no racing on Friday Aug 12th. Aug 26th the PureStocks and MidWest Modz will each compete in a special $250 to win feature event along with the regular point battles in B-Mods,FactoryStocks and StreetStocks. Sept 9th the kids get one last chance to race each other with the kids bike races while the chase for the championship comes to a halt on Friday Sept 30th. The season ends with the Always popular Coca-Cola Fall Brawl on October 7th and 8th as the A-Mods will be competing on the October 8th event in a $500 to win event.
