Midwest Low-E Night this Saturday, May 14th! Late Models, A-Modifieds, and Factory Stocks

 

WHEATLAND, MO (May 10, 2011)  -  Midwest Low-E Insulation in Hermitage, Missouri presents another great night of Rockstar Energy Drink Championship Racing this Saturday, May 14th at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. Don't miss the top drivers in the TNT Quick Shop Late Models, the Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds, and the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks as they battle door handle to door handle on the country's finest 3/8th mile clay oval.

Rylan Long out of Greenfield, Missouri finds himself on top of the TNT Quick Shop Late Model leaderboard after scoring back to back wins the past two Saturdays. Larry Jones relinquished the points lead and slipped back to the sixth position in the season long battle for the championship after suffering mechanical issues last Saturday. Browning, Missouri veteran and 2-time Track Champion Tommy Cordray has moved into the second spot while Springfield, Missouri's Chris Morelock holds down the third spot. Chris Hawkins driving his own blue and white #60 has moved into the fourth position with his strong second place finish on May 7th. Youngster Jordan Holloway out of Monett, Missouri occupies the final spot in the Top-5 only 44 points behind the leader.

The Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds have been up for grabs this season with several different winners visiting victory lane but it is 20-year old Chase Jones out of El Dorado Springs, Missouri holding a slim seven point lead over Laquey, Missouri's David Hendrix. Waynesville, Missouri driver Josh Woody in the white #21 rolls off this week in third spot in points with MLRA Regular and local favorite Jason Pursley in the fourth position. Urbana, Missouri's Terry Kirk sits in fifth only 16 points out of the lead.

Everton, Missouri's Sundance Keepper continues to lead the field in the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks as he held on for a fourth place finish last Saturday night. The May 7th race winner James Flood has slid into the second spot only five points behind Keepper. Defending Track Champion Randy Gilmore out of Wheatland, MO has the leaders in his sights as he shoots for his second consecutive championship as he has a solid third place in the points battle. Rounding out the Top-5 are Tim Jones out of Marshfield, Missouri and Frontenac, Kansas' Mike Bitner in the black Ford Mustang.

Spectator Gates open this Saturday at 5:00 with Hot Laps set to get under way at 7:00 and the first big race of the night takes to the track at 7:30pm. Adult Admission is just $12, with Seniors and Active Military only $8, Youth (6-15) are just $5 and kids 5 and under are always FREE at Lucas Oil Speedway.

Family Passes are priced at only $25 for this event which includes entry for two adults (age 16 and up) and up to three youth (ages 6-15), discounts on kids, meals, gift shop merchandise, and funnel cakes.

A limited number of VIP Suites are also still available for Saturday night and start at only $300 for a 12 guest unit which includes admission for 12, One Complimentary Food Tray off the Suite Menu, and (2) Six Packs of your choice of Water, Soda, or Beer.
