“MOWEAQUA MISSILE” READY TO LAUNCH 2006 TOUR

Moweaqua, IL (Jan. 27, 2006) – Shannon Babb, the quiet Illinoisan dubbed “The Moweaqua Missile” by his legions of fans, is preparing to launch is 2006 racing tour. Babb plans to pilot his #18 Car City/Platinum Motors & RV/J&J Steel/Petroff Towing C.J. Rayburn race cars at the upcoming trinity of speed at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, GA, and the Florida tracks of East Bay Raceway and Volusia Speedway Park.

Following the February Speedweeks events, “The Missile” and the #18 team will once again compete in a variety of touring, regional and crown jewel events during the remainder of their 2006 campaign. Babb has confirmed that he will attempt to duplicate his record-setting 2005 performance of 15 feature wins on the Summernationals tour as he aims for a repeat title in the summer tour-de-force.

Shannon Babb would also like to thank everyone that has extended a helping hand to his dominant #18 team. When asked to comment on the sponsors and businesses that power him he commented, “In the last five years, I feel that we have been one of the stronger competitors on the track and we are still improving each race.
