Gower Claims Winner Share of Q34 Bonus Points Fund

QUINCY, IL (August 31, 2011) - Joey Gower may not have captured at Track Championship at either Burlington’s 34 Raceway or Quincy Raceways but he did manage to claim the lion’s share of the $5000 Q34 Bonus Points Fund. Gower totaled up 515 points after dropping his three worst finishes at both 34 and Quincy to take the top spot in the two track combined series point fund. Keith Pratt scored second with 505, Denny Woodworth third with 502, Lonnie Bailey fourth with 501 and Matt Bailey fifth with 499. The $5000 fund was designed for paying ten places but only five drivers qualified to receive the bonus money so the sixth through tenth place monies will be divided evenly between the top five finishers. Gower will claim $1700 with Pratt getting $1200, Woodworth $800, Lonnie Bailey $700 and Matt Bailey $600 in Bonus Bucks during the upcoming 34 Raceway and Quincy Raceways Track Banquets.

Participating Sponsors of the Q34 Bonus Bucks Point fund are Back Stretch Racing Products, Rhinberger Enterprises Inc., Triple R Performance Engines, Dennis Woodworth Attorney at Law, Budweiser/Rinella Distributing, Diamond Oil Co. Sunoco Race Fuels, Ball Farms, IMCA Speedway Weekly Racing, and Miller Lite/Fleck Sales & Distributing
