Kevin Anderson won the Holley USRA Stock Car main event.

KANSAS CITY, Kan.—Kevin Anderson and Chad Clancy claimed their respective feature wins Friday as the USRA Iron Man Challenge invaded the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City.

Anderson came out ahead of points leader Kyle Falck by about a bumper in the Holley USRA Stock Car main event.

Jake Newman led the first two laps before Falck took control through lap 12.

Anderson climbed into the top spot on lap 13 but Falck came roaring back to reclaim the lead with 16 laps in the books.

Side by side at the line for the white flag, Falck continued to run the low line while Anderson stayed faithful to the high side on the final lap with Anderson nipping Falck at the stripe.

The win was worth $600 to the Kansas City racer. Falck and Newman settled for second and third with Jason Ryun and Steve Jackson fourth and fifth.

Brett Heeter, Mike Jergens, Nate Barnes, Justin Seifert and Stefan Sybesma finished sixth through tenth, respectively.

Clancy, from Liberty, Mo., continued his early-season hot streak and his fourth straight victory in April with a wire-to-wire win in the 20-lap main event.

The 2014 Out-Pace USRA B-Mod National Champion earned $600 for his effort while J.C. Morton finished second behind Clancy just as he did in the 2014 national points chase.

Third went to defending Out-Pace USRA B-Mod National Champ Andy Bryant who held off Brad Smith at the finish line. Smith was the runner-up in the 2013 and 2015 national points.

The top five was rounded out by newcomer Kaden Cornell.

The Iron Man Challenge featuring Out-Pace USRA B-Mods will join the USMTS for the next two nights at the Randolph County Raceway in Moberly, Mo., on Saturday, and then the Atchison County Speedway in Atchison, Kan., on Sunday.

The next gig for the Iron Man Challenge featuring Holley USRA Stock Cars happens Wednesday, May 25, at the Crawford County Speedway in Denison, Iowa.
