FVP National Sprint League “Fearless 410 Finale” Friday and Saturday at I-80!

Windom, MN (September 28, 2015) – The FVP National Sprint League brings a successful inaugural season to a close this Friday and Saturday, October 2 and 3 at the I-80 Speedway near Greenwood, Nebraska.  The “Fearless 410 Finale” presented by Huffman Productions and Durst Motorsports will not only feature the best of the NSL, but drivers like “The King of the Outlaws” Steve Kinser and young Dominic Scelzi of California.

Four-time Knoxville Nationals champion, Danny Lasoski, swept “Road to Knoxville” events earlier this season at the I-80 Speedway.  The “Dude” has a championship locked with the NSL, but behind him there is plenty of shuffling in the standings expected this weekend!

2014 Knoxville Raceway champion, Ian Madsen, comes into the weekend second in points, with two-time “King of California”, Tim Kaeding in the third spot.  Seven-time IRA champion, Bill Balog and seven-time Knoxville Raceway champion, Terry McCarl are tied for the fourth spot, just 111 points behind Kaeding.

Two-time Knoxville champ, Brian Brown, two-time USAC sprint and midget champion, Bryan Clauson, are sixth and seventh, just eleven points apart.  2015 Knoxville Nationals World Challenge winner, Lynton Jeffrey, Austin McCarl, and nine-time Australian World Series Sprintcars titlist, Brooke Tatnell, round out the top ten in the standings.

Other NSL drivers expected to compete include 2000 World of Outlaws Gumout champion, Craig Dollansky, eight-time Huset’s Speedway champion, Mark Dobmeier, 2013 Huset’s 360 champ, Matt Juhl, Tasker Phillips, Nebraska’s own, Dakota Hendrickson, North Dakota’s Jordan Adams and more!

Several drivers are expected to challenge the best of the NSL at I-80 Speedway.  Steve Kinser leads the pack.  Steve is a 20-time World of Outlaws champion and a 12-time Knoxville Nationals winner…both all-time records!

Eighteen year old Dominic Scelzi will also be in attendance, driving a sprint car for George Lasoski.  He won with the King of the West Sprints in Stockton, California in June, and after a back injury kept him out of competition for about six weeks, he returned to Victory Lane September 19 at Kings Speedway in Hanford, California with the series.

Saturday’s finale for the FVP National Sprint League will pay $7,000 to win and $1,000 to start!  That is in addition to the over $300,000 in point fund money drivers and owners are vying for this weekend!

The Nebraska 360 Sprint Series, and Mod Lites will be on the card Friday and Saturday.  On Friday, Late Models will be part of the event, while B-Mods will be running on Saturday.

Join the stars of the FVP National Sprint League Friday as they hit the banks of the 4/10-mile I-80 Speedway this Friday and Saturday!

National Sprint Car Museum Madness!

The “National Sprint Car Museum Madness” program will make its final stop of the year this Friday at I-80 Speedway.  The museum will be giving away sprint car-related prizes from its museum store to many lucky fans in attendance.

Said museum curator Tom Schmeh, “Museum volunteers Jim Harris and Doug McDonald will be joining me as we give away a lot of neat prizes to many of those on-hand for this special event. If you are a sprint car fan in Nebraska, you will want to be at Greenwood this weekend, especially on Friday night, October 2, for the winged 410-cubic-inch sprint car races and Museum Madness.”
