Lucas Oil Late Model Events Postponed Due To Incoming Weather

MACON, IL (April 27, 2017) – This weekend’s Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, IL and Macon Speedway in Macon, IL have been postponed. With the forecast for rain and thunderstorms on an already heavily saturated track and facility at both venues, speedway and series officials have agreed to postpone the events.

The 4th Annual St. Louis U-Pic-A-Part 100 at Macon Speedway will now take place on Tuesday, July 25th. The event will feature an action-packed program that includes: Miller Welders Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and the 100-lap, $12,000-to-win main event. Billingsley Elite Wash UMP Modifieds will run for $1,000 to win and the B-Mods will also be in action.

Macon Speedway’s next event will be Five Buck Night, with $5 grandstand admission next Saturday, May 6th. UMP Pro Late Models, UMP Billingsley Elite Wash Modifieds, B-Mods, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Hornets are on the schedule.
