WINSTON, MO (July 12, 2014) – Grand Nationals were the first out of the gate and would witness the familiar face of Buz Kaster #54 lead every lap on his way to earning the nights feature victory.  Heat race winner Austin Johnson #98 would be forced to settle for second as Kaster would not be touched on this night of racing.  Houston Johnson #97 would wheel his fast race car to a solid third place finish as Don Marrs #9 and James Glackin #60 would finish fourth and fifth respectively.

Midwest Lightning Sprints with a full field of cars would take to the track next as first time I-35 Speedway winner Luke McGee would pilot his yellow machine to victory lane.  McGee would hold off the hard charge of Tom Brown #b20 who would eventually place second.  Ken Billings #85 and Tony Layne #71 would battle side by side to the checkers with Billings ending up third and Layne finishing fourth.  Willie Wilkinson #09w would round out the features top five.  Heat race winners were A.J. Tice #81 and Mark K. Billings #51.

In the ever growing E-Mod class at I-35 Speedway the familiar car of #36j would wind up in the winner’s circle with John Brown behind the wheel.  Brown would dominate the field by over half a lap as Allie Mulich #90 would recover from an early race mishap to finish second.  Kyle Henning #1 and heat race winner LeRoy Cameron #6a would battle often with Henning eventually placing third and Cameron ending the night fourth.  Current I-35 Speedway E-Mod point leader Kit Bailey #77 would recover from a first lap spin to place fifth.

As the full moon glared down on I-35 Speedway the USRA B-Mods would take to the three eighths mile of dirt and struggle to find their footing as rain clouds loomed.  Jacob Bleess #21 would use an outside front row starting position to lead every lap on his way to claiming the nights feature win.  Gene Claxton #42 would hold off the high side charge of Jim Cameron #96c to place second leaving Cameron in third.  Current point leader Chad Clancy #21c would race to a consistent fourth place.  After starting in the rear of the field Clint Baker would impress all in attendance as he would pilot his #17x all the way to pack placing fifth.  Heat race winners included Dustin Miller #52m, Jacob Bleess #21, Jim Cameron #96c, and Clint Baker #17x.

As the USRA Stock Cars were just about to get the green flag, mother nature had other ideas as the clouds would open up and rains would fall.  USRA Stock Car and USRA Modified features will be made up at a later date.
