Cedar County Fair Set to Host Big Night of Racing
Tipton, Iowa: The Cedar County Fair will get underway on Wed, July 9th and runs through Sunday, July 13th. The Cedar County Fairboard has put together 5 great grandstand shows and it all starts with the Rodeo on Wednesday, July 9th.
The Racing enthusiasts will really enjoy the racing program that is slated for Thursday, July 10th. The Sprint Invaders will headline the race program, The traveling 360 Sprint Car Series promises to bring a stout field of Winged Warriors to the Cedar County Raceway ¼ mile dirt track. The IMCA Modifieds will also be racing and the special race being run in memory of Benny Jamison has seen an additional $2,200 added to the already great purse for the IMCA Modifieds. The Jamison family and their donors have increased the purse to $2,500 to win and each position offers great money and the main event will pay at least $200 to start. The increased prize money promises to bring a great field of IMCA Modified drivers to the Cedar County Fair. The A.I.R.S. Cars and the Midwest Jalopies will also be in action on the 10th.
The race program on Thursday will get underway with warm ups at 6:30 pm with racing to follow.
The Cedar County Fair will continue with the ECIPA Truck and Tractor Pull on Friday night with first hook scheduled for 6:30 pm.
Saturday, July 12th the Cedar County Fair is proud to welcome Country Entertainer JoDee Messina to the stage. The Saturday night concert is scheduled to get underway at 7:30 pm.
The 2025 Cedar County Fair will wrap up with the Tough trucks show on Sunday afternoon, the show will get underway at 2:00 pm.
