Cedar County Raceway Set To Host Racing Double Header

Tipton, Iowa: The Darkside promotions team is set to host two big nights of racing action at the Cedar County Raceway located on the Cedar County Fairgrounds in Tipton, Iowa. Friday, July 25^th the 32^nd Annual Gary Rinehart Memorial will be run with a full slate of racing action featuring the Modifieds racing for $2,000 to win. In addition to the Modifieds the Sportmods, Stock cars, Hobby Stocks, 4 Stocks and the A.I.R.S. will all battle it out on the ¼ mile dirt track. Friday nights race program will see hot laps take to the track at 6:30 pm with racing to follow.

On Saturday the 26^th the Hobby Stocks and Stock Cars will take center stage racing for a whopping $1,500 to win. The special being billed as the “Poop Box Nationals” will also include Modifieds, Sport Mods, 4 Stocks and 2Man Cruisers. Hot laps will again get underway at 6:30 pm with racing to follow.

Camping is available on the Cedar County Fairgounds for this 2 day event, Camping spots can be reserved by contacting the Cedar County Fairgrounds office.
