Sprint Invaders return to Davenport Speedway

Davenport, Ia. (May 6, 2025) – Sprint car fans of the Quad Cities rejoice! The Sprint Invaders return to Davenport Speedway on Friday, May 9th. Friday’s race is the only scheduled sprint car event in the Quad-Cities, this year.

A $2,000 top prize awaits the winner of the sprint car A-Main.

The winged warriors, under the Sprint Invaders banner, have appeared at Davenport three times. Kaley Gharst won the 2012 race on the half-mile track. Chase Randall won on the quarter-mile in 2022. Australian racer Scott Bogucki was the winner of the last race in 2023.

Also racing on Friday will be Modifieds, SportMods, Hobby Stocks, and Outlaw Street Stocks.

The pit gates will open at 3:30pm and the grandstand at 5pm. Hot laps will be at 6:30pm with racing to follow.

Grandstand tickets for adults are $25. Kids ages 5-10 are $10. Children 4 & under are free with paid adult. Pit passes will be $35.
