La SALLE, IL (May 10) -
Keith Piano charged around the highbanks of the Late Model feature as if he
had something to prove. Last week he was leading when a mishap with another
driver cost him his first win of the season and it was not ending the same
way Saturday night.

much rain on Saturday night and Sunday Morning forced the cancellation of

NORTH PLATTE, NE (May 10) - Promoter Gary Herbst was forced to postpone the
season opening night for Lincoln County Raceway in North Platte. Rain during
the week, especially on Friday, and a forecast of cold weather on Satuday
meant the track and pit area would not be able to be prepared in time for a
Saturday night show. Weather permitting, Lincoln County Raceway will begin
racing on Saturday night, May 17. The gates open at 5 PM, and the races will
start at 7 PM, Central Time.

LEBANON, MO (May 10) -The
racing action scheduled for May 9 at the Lebanon Midway Speedway fell to
mother nature for the 5th time this season. Action will resume Next Friday
May 16th with a full show of USRA Modifieds, Factory Stocks, B-Mods,
Bombers, SuperStocks and 305 Winged Sprints.

For the second straight week, Mother Nature has foiled the plans of track
owner, Marc Olson. This past Friday night, another series of rain storms
formed the postponement of yet another Friday night race.

The Dillard-Fowlkes Motor Co., sponsored weekly race program was the best
night weather wise that fans and drivers have had this season. A great field
of anxious drivers lined the pit row and action got underway right on time.

I-44 Speedway Sat Night and fans along with drivers were treates to great
side-by-side action with over 85 race teams in the pits.
