24 Raceway, Moberly, MO testing info & car show

MOBERLY, MO. (March 22, 2007) - With the current weather and the rain prediction through this weekend of March 24 & 25, the likelyhood of practice days at Moberly's 24 Raceway seems doubtful. But as of this Thursday evening, the plan is still to be open both days for the Noon to dusk Test 'n Tune.

By Saturday morning, a message will be on the track's answering machine regarding the decision for Saturday (and maybe the entire weekend) and that phone no. is 660-269-9300. There is still another weekend left for the daytime practice sessions for qualified drivers of all classes with a $10 admission per person entering the pit area, also from Noon to dusk. A signed release will be mandatory.

Then the 2nd annual Saturday Show & Shine Car Show will preceed Opening Night at the track on April 7th, with a live remote from Moberly's KZZT-FM 105.5 on the grounds before the 2007 racing season begins. Five classes of stock car racing take place each Saturday nite, with the various specials listed on the schedule, and with "Dirt Track Racing at its Best" at 24 Raceway in Moberly.
