Club (USAC), has been named the recipient of the 2007 “Outstanding Contribution
to the Sport Award” by all three voting panels of the North American Sprint Car
Poll.

BLOOMFIELD, Ia (Dec 6) - Per the recommendation of the race committee, the Davis
County Fairboard, at their regular meeting, Wednesday, Dec. 5, voted unanimously
to select Ron and Jerry Potts, of R & J Promotions, as promoters for the 2008
racing season. Details of sanctioning, rules, etc. are yet to be announced.
Present plans are to continue the traditional classes with bi-weekly appearances
of the 305 winged sprint cars. The Junior Fan Club will be returning, along with
other special events. Season opening is planned for mid-April, concluding in
early September.

at 7:15. This is an informational meeting to discuss upcoming rules changes for
