The Lucas Oil Speedway set to try again with the 2007 Season Opener presented by
The Bolivar Herald-Free Press on April 7th!

WHEATLAND, MO (April 3rd, 2007) - The Lucas Oil Speedway will blast back into action on April 7th after having been delayed a week by rain with the 2007 Season Opener once again presented by The Bolivar Herald-Free Press. Grandstand gates will open at 5:00 with Hot Laps at 6:30 and racing to follow.

The first round of the Lucas Oil Spring-Bling 8-race Bonus Series presented by Sawyer Tire will kickoff on April 7th for the Factory Stocks, ULMA Late Models, and B-Mods. This is an 8 race series that begins on April 7th and ends on June 23rd. Drivers who race in 6 of the 8 weekly races in the series receive $200 in bonus $$. These drivers are also eligible to compete in the Lucas Oil Spring-Bling Shootout on July 14th which will pay 1 1/2 times the weekly purse!

Opening night activities will once again feature all six divisions of ground pounding, side by side dirt track racing. Featured classes for the evening will be the Miller Lite-ULMA Late Models, the Pitts Homes A-Modifieds, the Chester Fried Chicken B-Mods, the TCI Transmission Factory Stocks, Hobby Stocks and the always wild Figure 8's. Wings, sideboards, and spoilers are encouraged in the Figure 8's as they race for $250 to win! In addition to an exciting night of racing, Paco the king of the rollovers will also return for a thrilling vehicle rollover exhibition!

The Junior Fan Club will be giving away free checkered flags to all race fans 11 and under that sign up for this ever popular club on opening night. Children 11 and under are admitted free to the speedway. Admission price for adults is $12, seniors are $8, and Students 12-17 are also $8. Season passes are available for $200 for students and seniors, adult season passes are $300. Pit passes are $25. Special events will be priced accordingly.

Upcoming events in April include the highly anticipated Orscheln's Farm and Home MLRA/MARS Spring Thunder Late Model race presented by O'Reilly Auto Parts on April 14th, along with the A-Modifieds, Factory Stocks, and B-Mods.

The Chrome Shop Mafia from the highly acclaimed Trick My Truck TV show on CMT has also been announced for April 14th with an appearance by Inferno! Details to be released soon!

April 21st will feature a full compliment of weekly racing at the speedway as well as the "Earth Day" Junior Fan Club Activity.

April 28th will feature all six weekly classes in action with a special Driver Autograph/Fan Day at the track.

The speedway has many special events planned throughout the season highlighted by the Lucas Oil Dirt Series Late Models $25,000 to win Superchip's "Diamond of the Dirt Mothers Day" special presented by O'Reilly Auto Parts on May 11th and 12th. Please visit www.lucasoilspeedway.com for details!
