McCook Speedway Banquet November 10

McCOOK, NE (Oct 8) - McCook Speedway will hold a banquet on Saturday night, November 10, to honor the top points drivers of the season. The event will be held on the Red Willow County Fairgrounds, but this year, it will be held in the Community Building. Bench racing will start at 6 PM, with the food line beginning at 7 PM, and the awards presentations to follow the meal. Promoters Chuck and Janet Gray will supply the meat and beverages for the night. Everyone else that comes to the event is asked to bring a covered dish.

During the awards ceremony, the top five drivers in each of the five classes will be honored. Mike Leibrandt of Mike's Achievement Plus will award his annual NASCAR Mike's Hard Charger Award. McCook Speedway will also present the Don and Ruth Hagan Helping Hand award. The winner of this award will receive a special trophy and a gift certificate.
