DCRA Featured on Dirt Track for CARMAGEDDON

ODESSA, MO (Aug. 25) – The Dwarf Car Racing Association, competing with Dwarf 
Cars and Mod Lite Cars, concluded the night during “CARMAGEDDON” 2007 at I-70 
Speedway. 23 cars representing Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Iowa and Nebraska, 
qualified for the Feature Event through 3 eight lap heat races and a 5 lap pole 
dash that determined the starting position of the top six qualifiers. Pole dash 
winner, David Raffurtty called the coin toss which resulted in the inversion of 
the top six cars for the feature start. Following Raffurty to the checker in the 
pole dash was the 98 of Jeff Raffurty, 11 David Blake, 95 Mike Kennedy, 4 Greg 
Nellis and the 64x Randy Bryan. 
“We just love these cars” commented I-70 Promoter, Brad McDonald. “And, so did 
the crowd, I’m guessing 1,600 plus fans made the short walk from the asphalt 
grandstands to the dirt track grandstands and stood on their feet to watch the 
DCRA Feature Event that concluded the night for “CARMAGEDDON” 2007”, concluded 
McDonald. 
Pole Dash winner, David Raffurty in his # 64, battled from his sixth place 
starting position to win the 20 lap DCRA Feature. Chasing Raffurty was the #4 of 
Greg Nellis, #20 Devin Krahl, the 98 of Jeff Raffurty, #66f Eric Hendrickson, 
the 95 Mike Kennedy, #3 Cory Dennis, the 181 of Jim Seichepine, #44 Brad Taylor, 
the 35 of Mike Sedgewick, # 20 Jeff Stengland, the 60 of Don Robbins, #64x Randy 
Bryan, the 23z of Zeke Langley, #46 Daryl Kabriel, the 24 of Kelly Bergstrom, 
#75 Rick Raffurty and the #11 of David Blake. 
Dirt track racing action continues next Friday night as I-70 Speedway presents 
“Five Dollar Friday”. Friday night racing features the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA 
Stock Cars, IMCA SportMods, Sport Compacts and the fan favorite, Farm Trucks. 
Pit Gates open at 5:00; Admission Gates open at 6:00. Hot laps begin at 7:30 
with racing at 8:15. As always on Friday nights, all general admission tickets 
are only $5.00 with children 5 and under admitted for free.
