Destroyer Chassis, Jet Racing sign on as title sponsors of IMCA Hobby Stock regions

VINTON, Iowa (March 23) – Destroyer Chassis and Jet Racing both add title sponsorships to their credit this season, in the new regions for IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks.

Destroyer, of Kennedale, Texas, gets top billing in the Southern Region, Beatrce, Neb.-based Jet in the North­ern Region.

Each will pay a portion of the point fund for top five drivers in final standings for their respective region. Cham pions earn $250, with $100 for second. Third through fifth each get $50.

Drivers will be required to display Destroyer or Jet decals on their race cars to receive any monetary award.

“The establishment of point funds is a great way to recognize accomplishments of more drivers around the country,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “I anticipate outstanding points races in both regions this season.”

Both chassis builders are also title sponsors of the two regions for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Destroyer since 2001 and Jet since 2004.
