O'Reilly MLRA signs Midwest Walnut for 2007 Racing Season

MLRA  (March 3, 2007) - Officials with the O'Reilly MLRA are excited to 
announce the addition of Council Bluff, IA's Midwest Walnut as a major sponsor 
as they set to embark on their 19th season of super late model action in the 
Midwest. Along with the signing the O'Reilly MLRA also announced the launch of 
the Midwest Walnut Lucky Stars Award for the upcoming season.
"We're excited to have the folks at Midwest Walnut on board with us for the 
coming year," stated O'Reilly MLRA owner/promoter Harriett Chancellor. "They 
have a rich history of providing quality hardwoods throughout the Midwest just 
like the O'Reilly MLRA has been providing quality racing throughout the Midwest. 
It's a perfect pairing for the both of us."
"We're also very excited about the Midwest Walnut Lucky Stars Award and know 
that the competitors will be too," continued Chancellor. The Midwest Walnut 
Lucky Stars Award will be contested at select O'Reilly MLRA events throughout 
the season with a $1000 bonus going to a competitor that is sure to have him 
thanking his "Lucky Stars." Prior to the feature event a number between 11 and 
22 (or 24 depending on numbers of cars starting) which will be kept private 
until after the event is completed. At that point the competitor finishing in 
the position corresponding with the number drawn will receive a $1000 bonus, in 
addition to their race winnings, from the folks at Midwest Walnut.
To be eligible for the Midwest Walnut Lucky Stars Award competitors must be an 
O'Reilly MLRA member and display both the O'Reilly MLRA and Midwest Walnut 
decals on the sides of their car. Drivers must also have competed in two 
O'Reilly MLRA events before they are eligible to claim the award. The selected 
Midwest Walnut Lucky Stars Award events is being finalized and will be announced 
shortly.
Midwest Walnut began as a small processing plant in Council Bluffs, IA is 1931 
supplying everything from logs to furniture throughout the Midwest. The 
continued growth of the company brought the need for a new plant which began
