Following a meeting with area sprint car racers on December 20, track owners,
Jeff and Amy Laue were undecided whether to bring back sprint car racing to 34
Raceway and add to their weekly program.

Knoxville Raceway released the 305 Sprint Car engine rules and specifications

Terry Phillips picked up his eleventh win of the 2006 Thunder Tour as the
O'Reilly MLRA closed out the season at Bolivar Speedway USA. The win was
also the 82nd career O'Reilly MLRA victory for the driver out of
Springfield, MO.

Chris Smyser found the high banks of Bolivar Speedway USA to his liking on
Friday night as he grabbed the O'Reilly MLRA victory. The win came on night
#1 of the Late Model Showdown which also saw the O'Reilly NCRA and O'Reilly
TORA series in competition.
