MIDDLETOWN, IA (Dec. 29, 2006) ­ Following a meeting with area sprint car racers on December 20, track owners, Jeff and Amy Laue were undecided whether to bring back sprint car racing to 34 Raceway and add to their weekly program.

KNOXVILLE, IA (Dec. 28, 2006) - Knoxville Raceway released the 305 Sprint Car engine rules and specifications today that will be used for all six of the scheduled race dates in 2007, including the April 27th, June 1st and June 15th, and the September 27th, 28th and 29th events.

FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. (Dec. 27, 2006) - The Fredericktown Raceway will reopen in late March of 2007 and when they do there will be a number of major changes from when the track was last in operation in September of 2004.

KNOXVILLE, TN (Dec. 27, 2006) - Beginning January 2, 2007 the extremely popular dirt track racing oriented national magazines Dirt Late Model and Flat Out will have new ownership when Three Wide Media based in Independence, IA assumes proprietorship of the magazines from Mind Over Media Publishing, announced Dean Nardi of Mind Over Media and Brian Lillie of Three Wide Media on Wednesday morning.

BOLIVAR, MO. (Oct. 7, 2006) - Terry Phillips picked up his eleventh win of the 2006 Thunder Tour as the O'Reilly MLRA closed out the season at Bolivar Speedway USA. The win was also the 82nd career O'Reilly MLRA victory for the driver out of Springfield, MO.

BOLIVAR, MO. (Oct. 6, 2006) - Chris Smyser found the high banks of Bolivar Speedway USA to his liking on Friday night as he grabbed the O'Reilly MLRA victory. The win came on night #1 of the Late Model Showdown which also saw the O'Reilly NCRA and O'Reilly TORA series in competition.

CORNING, IA (Oct. 7, 2006) - In contrast to Friday's all-out speed contest on a sticky-fast racing surface at the Adams County Speedway, Saturday's finale of the 2nd Annual Hawkeye Clash turned out to be a test of patience and tire wear as a dry, rubbered-down racing surface played havoc with the rugged road warriors of the O’Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series.
