Lebanon Midway Ready For Show-Me Series And Purple Crown Relay Race

LEBANON, MO. (Aug. 30, 2006) - Action will get back underway this Friday night Sept.1 as the Show-Me Racin Series Late Models will tackle the Midway with Series Points Race.

This Friday night the track will also host the 1st annual Purple Crown Relay For Life Race during intermission.

American Cancer Society team captians are selling advanced general admission for this event at $10.00.Of that money, half will go towards the Lebanon Chapter of the American Cancer Society. From there the captains will be competing in qualifying heats and a Main Event in Enduro Cars provided by the Midway Speedway and East Highway 32 Garage. The Main Event winner will recieve $500 from the Speedway and that teams donations towards The Relay For Life Cancer Society as over 18 teams are set to do battle. This event will be at intermission Friday night.

Also extra money could be up for grabs in both the SuperStocks and FactoryStock Classes with good car counts.

Gates open at 5 with Hotlaps at 7 and Racing at 8 Sharp
