Kid's Bike Races This Weekend At LebanonMidway/Tight Point Battles

LEBANON, Mo.- (May 30, 2006) - After a very action packed night of racing last weekend, the Lebanon Midway Speedway will be hosting a kids bike race for those 10 and under.

Last season the early kid's night produced over 50 riders and the Sept edition of this event was over 65.

Children 10 and under can compete as these races will be held at intermission.Children must wear helmets and have pads for both the elbows and knees.Special prizes will be handed out to the top riders.

This weekend all 6 regular classes will be in action as some very tight point battles have highlighted the season early.

Leaders going into this weekend included Jared Harris(Fastrak LateModels),Jamie Ragland and Tony Jackson Jr are tied in the Modifieds,Tim Brown(FactoryStocks),Shawn Winfrey(Bombers),Ben Newell(SuperStocks),and Clint Todd(WingedSprints).
Action wil start with the gates opening at 5PM,Hotlaps at 6:55 and racing at 8PM sharp.

Next weekend will be an action packed double-header as AutoZone will present Kenny Wallace Night at the races as the Nascar Driver will be racing his St.Louis Cardinals Modified in a special $1,000 to win Modified feature as the challange of the Series as the Area Fastrak LateModels battle the Show-Me Racin Series LateModels in a $700 to win feature and the Bombers will compete for 200 to win the Thursday Night Special.

Gates will open at 5 that evening as a special autograph session will be before racing action starts.
