Dennis Erb Takes Win at Fairbury Over Busy Holiday Weekend!

CARPENTERSVILLE, IL (May 31, 2006) -  The Dennis Erb Racing team is fresh off a grueling four race stretch over the busy Memorial Day holiday weekend. It was a pretty productive weekend for the Carpentersville, Illinois based Dirt Late Model team, as they claimed one victory, two Top Five finishes, and three Top Ten runs in the four events that they chose to compete in over the extended weekend. Their win came on Saturday, May 27 at the Fairbury American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois. Dennis’ lone finish outside of the top ten came on Monday, May 29, as he finished twenty-fourth in the rain-postponed ‘99’ after breaking a j-bar bracket. An overview of his weekend is shown below:

The Dennis Erb Racing team will compete in a trio of Dirt Late Model events this coming weekend. Their busy weekend will kick off this Friday evening, June 2 at the Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois. Dennis will be competing for the $1,200 top prize in the UMP regular show on Friday night. Dennis will then hit rounds two and three of the annual UMP Tri-Track Challenge on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday’s show will be held at the I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri, while the event on Sunday will be hosted by the Vermilion County Speedway in Danville, Illinois. Both UMP Tri-Track Challenge events will pay $10,000 to the winner.
