Buchanan County Fair demolition derby rules available

INDEPENDENCE, Ia. (April 25, 2006) - The rules for the 2006 Buchanan County Fair demolition derby are now available. They are listed on the rules portion of the track web site, www.independencemotorspeedway.com. The event, held annually during the Buchanan County Fair, will take place on Friday, July 21, and will be sponsored by BankIowa.

Along with the demolition derby, the remainder of the 2006 fair schedule promises to be action-packed. The grandstand events during the 2006 Buchanan County Fair begin with the Indee Open Series on Wednesday, July 19, followed by a truck/tractor pull on Thursday. Following Friday night's demolition derby, weekly racing action resumes on Saturday. The week-long celebration comes to an end with a rodeo and bull-riding on Sunday, July 23.
