Mountain Dew Bloomfield Speedway Hosts Sprint Invaders

BURLINGTON, IA. (July 12, 2006) - The final mid-Summer County Fair stop of the 2006 Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders trail rolls into the Davis County Fair at the Mountain Dew Bloomfield Speedway on Thursday, July 13th.

Matt Sutton holds a 32-point advantage over Ryan Jamison through eleven events. Sutton, the only three-time series winner, will make his first visit to the Bloomfield 3/8-mile. One year ago, twenty-two drivers entered with Jerrod Hull earning top honors in Rich DeReu’s sprinter.

Bobby Hawks followed Hull to the stripe last July. The Jacksonville, Illinois veteran is one of the hottest drivers on tour with two thirds, a fourth, and a fifth in the last four Sprint Invaders A-Mains.

Hot Laps are scheduled for 7:15 and racing to follow at 7:30 on Thursday. The Mid-America 305 Sprints will fill out the card. General Admission is $10 for Adults, $8 for Students and Seniors, and free for Kids 12 and under. Pit Passes are $20.
