Dawson County Raceway Adds September 17 Race Date

LEXINGTON, NE. (Sept. 7, 2006) - Promoter Allen Wissmann has been granted a makeup date for Dawson County Raceway in Lexington. The date will be Sunday, September 17. Because of the late date, the starting time will be moved up to 5 PM CDT, with the gates opening at 3 PM. The IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, and IMCA Hobby Stocks will run for IMCA-applicable points. They and the 270cc Mini Sprints will all run for track points. After the races, trophies will be handed out to the top season point earners in all four classes. Grandstand admission is $8 for adults, $4 for children 6 - 12, and kids under 6 will be admitted for free. Pit passes are $20. Drivers that have not raced at Dawson County Raceway this year are invited to attend, and will also be charged a one time $10 registration fee.
