POPLAR BLUFF, MO. - (Sept. 9, 2006) Todd Clifford picked up the checkered flag Saturday night at the Poplar Bluff Speedway in the Modified feature. Clifford was able to hold off the challenge of Tim Radford for the victory with Radford taking second place, Shane Moody was third with Stephen Groves fourth and Jeremy Conner fifth. They were followed by Chuck Tilley, Larry Hull, Austin Matthews, George Charles and Jeff McGhee.

Doug Moore won the Super Street feature with Paul Reeder second, Scott Tracer third, Tim WInchester fourth and Jason Pennington fifth. They were followed by Jamie Robards, Greg Sparks, Larry Ludwig, Eddie Hewitt and Jason Winkle.

In the Pure Street class feature, Mark Todd of Jackson was the winner with Coot Wilson second, Kyle Oberkramer third, Robert Williams fourth and Rob Lee fifth. They were followed by Jimmy Casey, Delain Scott, Jacob Black, Skip Holman, and Billy Hopkins.

In the Dwarf car feature John Leahy was victorious with Brad Paquet second, Jeff Asher third, Ryan Poyner fourth and Mike Zaricor fifth. They were followed by David Huffman, Aaron Bell, Scott Bell, Nelson McMikle and Jim Black.

In the 2-Man Cruiser class feature, the team of Brown/Dunning was the winner with Stephens/Stephens second, Cornell/Merritt third, Rigdon/Rigdon fourth and Retherford/Reece fifth. They were followed by Leach/Leach, Hanley/Michaels, Wilkinson/Wilkinson, Pittman/Graham and Harbrueger/Wayne.
There were no Super Late Models on September 9th and they will not be racing on September 16th. All other classes will be participating.
