This year's Chassis Builders title is the third in a row for the southern Indiana company owned by Keith and Tader Masters.

MasterSbilt finished with a total of eight PolyDome Late Model Series feature race wins, headed up by Menomonie, Wisconsin's Jimmy Mars, who won series events at Knoxville, Iowa; Superior, Wis.; and Alexandria, Minn. Other MasterSbilt feature race wins went to Mound, Minnesota's Justin Fegers, Earl Pearson Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla.; Solon Springs, Wisconsin's Brady Smith; Brian Harris of Davenport, Iowa; and Chad Simpson of Mount Vernon, Iowa.

Muscatine, Iowa's Brian Birkhofer and Milledgeville, Ill., pilot Darren Miller each scored four WDRL feature race wins for Mark Richards-owned Rocket Chassis. Papillion, Nebraska's Steve Kosiski, Matt Furman of Iowa City, Iowa; and veteran Winona, Minn., driver Lance Matthees picked up other 2006 Rocket feature race wins.

The lone series win for Swartz Xtreme Design Chassis, owned by Audie Swartz, was logged by two-time WDRL champion Kyle Berck. GRT Race Cars, owned by Joe Garrison, failed to score a series feature race win.

As the 2006 WORLD Dirt Racing League Chassis Builders Champion, MasterSbilt Race Cars will present a 2007 MasterSbilt Smackdown chassis to the MasterSbilt driver who finished the highest in the final series point standings at this year's PolyDome Late Model Series Champions Banquet, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 4, at Terrible's Casino in Osceola, Iowa. Series runner-up Brian Harris will receive this year's Chassis Builders award.
