MOBERLY, MO. (Aug. 26, 2006) - For the 2nd consecutive week, the racing program at 24 Raceway in Moberly, MO has been cancelled due to rain, for Saturday night, August 26, 2006. The top three in the 2006 Season Points standings for each of the five weekly racing classes, plus the Dwarf Car Association are listed at the end of this e-mail. These are the final standings for the 2006 season.

Next week starts with the 1st of four successive scheduled specials for the upcoming race weekends in September: Speed Bowl 2006 on Sept. 2 w/ Aaron's Sales and Lease Ownership of both Moberly & Columbia as main sponsor; The 4th Annual B-mod Special on Sept. 9 w/ MHC Kenworth of Columbia as main sponsor and Pennzoil as an associate sponsor; the W.O.W. 360 Sprint Race on Sept. 16 w/ Commerce Bank of Moberly (and surrounding communities) as main sponsor; and the S.S. Autosport.com All-Star race on Sept. 23. Welcome and thanks to all of these fine sponsors!

Dirt Track Racing at its Best" happens all season long at 24 Raceway, east of Moberly Missouri on U.S. Highway 24. Adult admission to the grandstand will be $15 for the next three events, kids are $5 for ages 6 to 12, and the stands will open at 4 p.m. Rates for the popular Family Pass are $35 for all three upcoming events, and that includes admission to the grandstands for 2 adults and 3 children, ages 6 to 12. Kids under 6 are always free. Racing starts at 7 p.m. with hot laps at 6:15 following a short drivers' meeting.
