Lebanon Midway Ready For Modified Madness Season Opener

Lebanon, Mo. (April 4, 2006) - The Lebanon Midway Speedway is ready for the Madness of the 2006 racing season as this Weekend on April 7th&8th, the track will host the 2 day special event called Modified Madness with $6,000 going to the winner of the 50 lapper.

The Midway has decided to start the 2006 season with a Big Bang as new things will await the drivers and fans alike.
More pit parking will greet the drivers this season as new land acquired during the off-season will allow the drivers alittle more space.

Also turns 3&4 have been changed and from the early season practices, it will be welcomed by both drivers and fans creating more side by side action.

The track is also creating a hotlane allowing drivers with flat tires a place to quickly change them and get into action.
The season opener this weekend will find Action on Friday Night with the gates opening at 5 with hotlaps starting at 7:15 and racing at 8PM.

Sat Night action will open the gates at 5 with hot laps starting at 6:45 and racing at 7:30.

Friday night will feature qualifying heats for the Modifieds, pole dash and a qualifying feature along with heats and features for the Bombers.

Sat Night will feature heats and a last chance race for the Modifieds along with the 50 lap A Main. Winged Sprints will be racing along on Sat Night.

Last season over 50 modifieds challenged the Midway and in an action packed A feature, ILL Hotshoe Chad Kinder drove to the $6,000 winning feature as 16 of the 26 starters finished on the lead lap.

Admission on Friday will be 10 for adults kids 11-15 $5 and 10 and under Free.

Sat Night admission will be 12 for adults while the kids prices remain the same. Pit passes both nights will be $30.
