by :Ronnie Williams

LEBANON, MO. (Aug. 7, 2006) - The stars and Cars of the Traveling Show-Me Racin Series Late Models will tackle the Lebanon Midway Speedway this Friday Night. This will be the 1st true ever visit for the series as they have ran non-sanctioned shows before.

In the last visit, rookie of the year contender Chad Smith looked to be heading to his 1st LateModel feature win as the Arkansas driver was holding off repeated challanges from Hall Of Fame Driver Ken Essary and Leslie Essary until a flat tire took him out of contention. From there,Leslie Essary made a smooth move on the bottom to get around Ken to claim the winning trophy on Kenny Wallace night.
