O'Reilly USCS Mid-South Thunder tour invades Malden Speedway on Friday July 28th

Malden, MO (July 23, 2006) -  The O'Reilly Auto Parts United Sprint Car Series Mid-South Thunder Tour will invade Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri on Friday night July 28th for the fourth time this season. The previous three events have included the track's season-opener and the kickoff event for the O'Reilly USCS Speedweek 2006 both won by Sikeston, Missouri's Jerrod Hull and last month's regional shootout won by Jason Sides have all produced tremendous racing action and have boasted very competitive fields with lots of talent.

The July 28th event is expected to include entries from at least five states. Those entries include O'Reilly USCS Speedweek 2006 Champion Mike Ward from Memphis, Tennessee who leads the O'Reilly USCS Mid-South Thunder regional series point standings and O'Reilly USCS National points leader Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee.

Another former Malden Speedway feature winner entered is Marshall Skinner from West Memphis, Arkansas. Skinner is currently third in the O'Reilly USCS Mid-South regional standings and in the runner-up spot behind Gray in the O'Reilly USCS Dirt Cup National dirt track standings. The july 28th event will award O'Reilly USCS Mid-South Thunder regional series points and Malden Speedway's Fast Friday sprint car track championship points as well.
