BENTON, MISSOURI (March 29, 2006) -  In only their second event of the 2006 racing season, Joey Mack and the Mack Racing, Inc. team found victory lane this past Saturday night at the Poplar Bluff Speedway in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The driver of the High's Gift Shop / Boomland / Bollinger Auto #97m GRT / Kuntz machine led the feature event from flag-to-flag on Saturday to claim the
$1,000 top prize. After winning his heat race to earn the pole position for the A-Main, Joey bested Steve Rushin, Chris Jones, Billy Moyer, Jr., and Jordan Jones to register his first victory of the season!

“It was about as perfect as a race night could go,” commented Mack this week, who also finished fifth at Poplar Bluff in his season opener on March 18. “Our car performed great all night and I was able to get the win. Steve (Rushin) won the week prior and gets around Poplar Bluff pretty well, so it feels good to beat a guy of that caliber. I have to thank all of my
crew for their hard work on the new car and also thank my sponsors for their continued dedication and support. Hopefully, we can visit victory lane many more times this year!”

The 2006 racing season kicks into high gear in April, as Joey plans to compete in at least seven events next month. This coming weekend will find Joey and the Mack Racing, Inc. team at the Poplar Bluff (MO) Speedway once again for another regular show. On April 8, the Mid-America Racing Series (MARS) season kicks off with a $3,000 to win event at the West Plains Motor Speedway in West Plains, Missouri. Joey and the rest of the cars and stars that follow the MARS Series will be busy in April, as they have six events scheduled in three different states.
