URSS AWARDS BANQUET SCHEDULED

OBERLIN, KS (Nov. 7, 2006) - The United Rebel Sprint Series has scheduled the Inaugural Season Awards Banquet to be held December 16th at the American Legion in Oberlin, Kansas.

The inaugural season of URSS 305 Traveling Series saw a lot of great racing action and fans were treated to a close points battle all season long. With the interest the series has generated this year, the 2007 season looks to be even brighter as several new cars and drivers are joining the series for the 2007 Season.

The festivities will begin with "Hot Laps" at 6:00 pm, followed by the Dinner at 7:00 pm. The Awards ceremonies will follow where the Inaugural URSS Season's accomplishments will be reviewed and all of the hardware awarded. To cap the evening's entertainment, a dance with be held for all in attendance to cut a rug.

The cost for the evenings activities is $20.00 per person which includes Dinner and Dancing after the Awards Presentations. The URSS has reserved a block of 15 rooms at the Frontier Motel in Oberlin. Those wishing to book a room need to make their reservations at least a week prior and let them know you will be there for the banquet.
