EAGLE RACEWAY BRACING FOR MOD MADNESS, O’REILLY USMTS DEBUT

EAGLE, NE.. (July 12, 2006) - The historic high-banked 1/3-mile oval near Eagle, Neb., is gearing up for a thrilling night of action and the biggest Modified show ever to hit the Eagle Raceway as O’Reilly Auto Parts presents Modified Madness and the debut of the O’Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series on Wednesday, July 19.

"Fans can look forward to seeing the best Modified drivers from across the U.S. in this one-of-a-kind event," said Eagle Raceway promoter Roger Hadan. "This promises to be a great show for any race fan."

Also racing will be the Stereo West Auto Toys Hobby Stocks and the Outlaw Vintage Lites (Dwarf Cars).

After the races, Crash Moreau’s "Thrillmasters" will attempt a trio of death-defying stunts. The grand finale will feature stuntman Rocky Hardcore attempting to fly a full-sized garbage truck off of an eight-foot-high dirt ramp and leap more than 50 feet through the air before landing on top of a row of parked cars!

"This will be an awesome stunt you won’t want to miss," Hadan added.

The jump will be an attempt set a new Guinness World Record for a garbage truck leap. It all happens at “America’s Home Track” Eagle Raceway on Wednesday, July 19.

Tickets on the day of the show are $15 for adults, youth (6-13) are $5 and children 5 & under are admitted FREE.
