Lebanon Midway Suffers Rainout Prepares For Show-Me Lates and Cancer Fund Raiser

LEBANON, MO. (Aug. 26, 2006) - Constant Rain forced cancellation Friday night of racing action at the Lebanon Midway Speedway canceling the Aug. edition of Enduro racing and moving the ladies powder puff back to Sept. 15th on season championship night.

Next Friday Night Sept.1st the track will host the Show-Me Racin Series Late Models as this will be a regular track points race for the Fastrak Late Models also but using the line-up procedures from the Show-Me Racin Series for the A feature.

The Speedway will also be holding a special Relay For Life Cancer fund raiser as representatives from the 18 plus teams in the Lebanon Area will be racing during intermission for a winner take all event. Teams are selling advanced tickets to the event in which half goes to the Cancer Relay Program. The winning drivers team will receive the prize money towards there team. The Speedway has helped out with Cancer Fund-raisers the last 2 season helping raise over $2,000

Good Car Counts means $$$-15 or more Super Stocks means the winner will receive $300 along with $50 to start the feature Friday night and also 18 or more Factory Stocks means $400 to the winner with $50 to start.

Ladies Powderpuff-The event has been rescheduled for Sept 15th on Season Championship night after the racing has finished. This is the 2nd powderpuff held this season at the track.

Kids Night-Sept 8th-Bike Races-The Midway has the reputation of being a family run for family fun track and that will hold true as kids 10 and under will get to compete at intermission in the kids bike race-this is the final of 4 kids night held at the Midway For this season-earlier a bike race found over 60 kids racing

Coca-Cola Fall Brawl-The 2 day event which was a huge success last season will be held on Sept 22-23.Over 45,000-50,000 in prize money will be up for grabs.
Friday Night will feature qualifying heats and pole dashes along with a 100 lap Enduro for all classes.

Sat Night all the feature events as this season the Show-Me Racing Late Models will be part of this seasons events.

Racers Helping Racers-Last Friday Night veteran JC Newell rolled his SuperStocker several times in the feature. Almost all of the racers in this class ran over during the red flag to help out JC. Over 7 different teams have offered him there cars to finish out the season in this popular class.
