Gilman City, Mo. (March 7, 2006) -- The Joie of Seating is the latest addition to the WORLD Dirt Racing League PolyDome Late Model Series family of sponsors.

The Concord, N.C. company, owned by two-time NASCAR Busch Series champion Randy LaJoie, will be providing PolyDome Late Model Series drivers the opportunity to win product certificates at each of the series' approximately 30 events this summer as well as providing awards to the top five drivers in the final WDRL point standings and the series Rookie-of-the-Year.

"We are extremely excited about getting involved with the WORLD Dirt Racing League," commented Joe Pelham, general manager of The Joie of Seating.

"We are looking for a long and lasting relationship with the series and are very much looking forward to getting to know the racers and introducing them to the safest and most comfortable driver's seat on the market," he added.

In making the sponsorship announcement, Pelham noted that, in addition to awarding a redeemable product certificate at each WDRL event this summer, The Joie of Seating will also be awarding the 2006 PolyDome Late Model Series champion the company's popular Saturday Night Special driver's seat.

According to Pelham, the Saturday Night Special is tailored to fit the exact size of the driver, maximizing comfort in the shoulder and rib area, along with having headrests that keep the driver safe in the event of a crash.

Pelham also noted that the WDRL Rookie-of-the-Year will be awarded The Joie of Seating's Safer System, a bolt-on addition that works with almost any driver's seat, providing added support, comfort and safety around the head area and shoulders.

According to Pelham, representatives of The Joie of Seating will also be conducting safety seminars for series drivers and crew members at selected WDRL events this summer. The seminars will be approximately 45-minutes in length and will cover a variety of safety topics and also allow for a period of questions and answers and discussion time.

In addition to its Saturday Night Special driver's seat, The Joie of Seating also manufactures fully custom drivers seats, sprint car seats and youth seats. The company also recently introduced a new line of light and waterproof race car covers, available in a variety of popular colors.
