Mother Nature shortens racing action at Norton

Norton, KS (April 1, 2006)—A good field of cars in all four divisions were on hand for racing action at Elmwood Park Speedway in Norton, KS, Saturday evening, April 1, only to be fooled by Mother Nature. After the heat races were completed for the three IMCA-sanctioned divisions, a thunderstorm moved in, forcing track officials to call the race program for the evening. The remainder of the program will take place on Saturday evening, April 15.

The program will open with the two Cruiser make-up heats, followed by the make-up features in all four divisions. Then a full race program, which was scheduled for April 15, will follow the make-up races. The Easter Bunny is also scheduled to make an appearance that night.
