Kenny Wallace To Race At LebanonMidway On June 8th

Lebanon, Mo (June 1, 2006) - Nascar Busch Series and Nextel Cup Driver Kenny Wallace will be tackling the tough Modified class as Autozone Night at the Races will present Thursday Night Thunder on June 8th at the Lebanon Midway Speedway.

Wallace will be racing his St Louis Cardinals sponsored Modified in a special $1,000 to win feature event that evening along with a special autograph session early in the evening.

Kenny, the youngest of the Racing Wallace Brothers from St. Louis is a veteran of the Nascar world in both the Busch Series driving the AutoZone Autoparts sponsored 22 Ford along with the Furniture Row Ford in the Nextel Cup Series.

The Former ASA Rookie of the year and most popular driver in the Busch Series is coming to run up front and attempt to capture the $1,000 to win and $100 to start Modified feature as his car is prepared at the shops of Impressive Racing out of the St Louis area. Many of the area top Modified drivers will be on hand competing.

Also on the race card that evening will be the challange of the Late Model Series as the Travelin Show-Me Racin Series will battle the Fastrak LateModels in a 700 to win Main event. This will be a bonus points race for the Show-Me Series as drivers such as Kenny Essary, Kevin Henson, Leslie Essary, Jeremy Kelley will representing this series while current Midway Fastrak Late Model Jared Harris, Lebanon's Ron Myers and others will head up the Fastrak Series. Bombers will also be running for special money.

Admission for this special event will be adults $15 Children 11-15 will be $5 and 10 and under free.Pit passes will be $30 for all.

Gates will open at 5 with Racing to start at 8PM sharp.
