Brian Ellenberger Returns to All Stars Full Time in 2007

CAMARGO, IL (Dec. 8, 2006) – The All Star Circuit of Champions would like to welcome back Brian Ellenberger to full time competition in 2007. Brian has been working hard to put together a team to compete with the series again in 2007 and will make a run at the All Star Season Points Championship. Ellenberger ran nearly a full season with the All Stars in 1999 and finished 10th in points. He returned to run several more All Star shows in 2000 and 2001 on a limited part-time schedule. “In the past I was never able to run 100% of the races, but my goal is to run the complete schedule next season,” said Ellenberger.

Brian took a few years off from racing between 2003 and 2005 and returned in 2006 hitting many of the bigger shows such as Ohio Sprint Speedweek, The Kings Royal, and the Knoxville Nationals to prepare himself for an all out assault on the 2007 season. Ellenberger will be piloting his family owned #20E and will be using JEI Chassis and Don Ott Racing Engines when he travels to Florida for the season opener at Volusia Speedway on February 6, 7, & 8th. He’ll be competing with the help of sponsors Open Joist and Car Mate Trailers and is hoping to add a few more before the season starts.

Ellenberger resides in Western Pennsylvania with his wife Raelene and their two children Brianna and Broc. He has been racing sprint cars since 1996 where he was Rookie of the Year at Sharon Speedway and Tri-State Speedway in his first year behind the wheel. Since then he has won numerous races at his local tracks Tri City, Lernerville, Mercer, and Sharon. He also won the Western PA Sprint Car Championship at Mercer in 2006. The All Stars are excited to have another great competitor to add to the mix for the upcoming season and wish Brian the best of luck in his return.

The All Stars will honor the Top 10 drivers from 2006 at the annual awards banquet to be held at the Eldora Ballroom on January 7th.
