Independence Motor Speedway banquet set for November 4

INDEPENDENCE, IA (Oct. 17, 2006) - The annual awards banquet for Independence Motor Speedway will be held in the 4-H Building at the Buchanan County Fairgrounds on Saturday, November 4.

The annual event, which honors driver accomplishments from the 2006 season, will begin with a 6 p.m. social hour. Dinner will be served from 7-8 and the awards program will run from 8-9 followed by a dance from 9 to midnight.

Tickets are $15 each and may be purchased by sending payment and ticket requests to Independence Motor Speedway, P.O. Box 258, Independence, IA 50644. The deadline to order tickets, which must be purchased in advance, is October 28.

Those wishing to attend only the awards program and/or dance will be charged a $5 admission at the door.
