Affordable Family Fun will make 34 Raceway the place to be

BURLINGTON, IA (April 9) - Unseasonably cold weather has delayed the start of the 2007 racing season at 34 Raceway, but not the enthusiasm new owners, Jeff and Amy Laue, have for the upcoming season. Attending the races should be fun for the family and affordable, according to the Laues and the 2007 scheduled features lots of special promotions to do just that. Several nights will see reduced and free admissions, giveaways, DJ¹s in the pits, autograph sessions, free gifts and reduced prices on food and drink specials. Kids will enjoy big wheel races, giveaways, clowns, games, popcorn, Box car races, candy dash, free snow cones and even Santa Claus.

With five classes of racing each Saturday night and several special events throughout the year there is something for every race fan. If its IMCA Late Models, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Modifieds, hobby stocks or the return of sprint car racing on a weekly basis you like, you won¹t want to miss any of the action.

New this year will also be a special section in the pits called ³Victory Lane² where fans, young and old, can stop by and visit with the night¹s winners. Bring your camera for a picture, or stop by and get an autograph. The first race of the season which featured the Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders was postponed when temperatures hit a high in the mid thirty¹s on Saturday, April 7. The race has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 25.
