Weekly Racing, Fireworks, and a Special Appearance by Bigfoot highlight
Lucas Oil Speedway Action for July 7th, 2007

WHEATLAND, MO (July 5)- The Lucas Oil Speedway roars back to life this Saturday night, July 7th with another invigorating night of over the top weekly racing series action featuring the Miller Lite ULMA Late Models, the Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds, the TCI Transmission Factory Stocks, and the Chester Fried Chicken Hobby Stocks all in action. The speedway will also illuminate the sky this Saturday after the racing action is complete with a dazzling fireworks display as we celebrate a belated Independence Day holiday due to the rains that dampened the speedway last weekend. Bigfoot, the Original Monster Truck and top driver Dan Runte will also be making a special guest appearance presented by Sawyer Tire. Grandstand gates open at 5:00 this Saturday with Hot Laps scheduled to begin at 6:30 and racing to follow.

The weekend festivities begin this Friday, July 6th as Bigfoot and driver Dan Runte will be at Sawyer Tire in Bolivar from 10am to 3pm. See the 1500 horsepower beast up close and meet driver Dan Runte as part of Sawyer Tire's customer appreciation day. The event at Sawyer Tire will feature free fan photos with Bigfoot, free refreshments, and drawings for a free set of Bridgestone tires and free Oil Changes for a year. The first 250 visitors will receive FREE race tickets to the Lucas Oil Speedway for this Saturday July 7th where Big Foot and Dan will make a second appearance. The Lucas Oil Spring-Bling Bonus Series presented by Sawyer Tire continues this weekend for the Factory Stocks and ULMA Late Models. Drivers who race in 6 of the 8 weekly races in the series receive $200 in bonus $$. These drivers are also eligible to compete in the Lucas Oil Spring-Bling Shootout on July 14th which will pay 1 1/2 times the weekly purse!

Adult admission price at the speedway is $12, Seniors and Students 12-17 are $8, and Children 11 and under are admitted free to the speedway. Season passes are available for $200 for students and seniors, adult season passes are $300. Pit passes are $25.

Upcoming Events: July 14th will feature the Sawyer Tire Spring-Bling Shootout for the Factory Stocks and ULMA Late Models along with exciting weekly racing in all classes. The Lucas Oil Dirt Series and the MLRA Late Models return for The Citizens Memorial Hospital Late Model Showdown $10,000 to win show on July 21st. The month will wrap up on July 28th with another night of weekly racing series action as the race for the points championships heat up along with the weather.

Late Model Schedule Change
The O'Reilly MLRA race originally scheduled for August 18th is now an MLRA vs. MARS Late Model Challenge Thunder Event and is now scheduled for August 11, 2007. Mark your calendars as you won't want to miss it!
