Indee Open Series Finale falls to rain, rescheduled for August 28

INDEPENDENCE, Iowa (Aug. 15) - Pesky rain showers throughout the day and more precipitation in the forecast have forced officials to postpone the Climate Seal Insulation Indee Open Series Finale at Independence Motor Speedway. The event, the sixth and final installment of this year's series, will be made up on Tuesday, August 28.

Indee Series late models, modifieds, stock cars and B modifieds will remain on the schedule for the August 28 make-up date.

Gates will open at 4 p.m. with hot laps scheduled for 6:30 and racing to begin at 7. Grandstand admission is $18 for adults, $16 for seniors, $8 for students 12-17 and $2 for children 6-11. Kids five and under will be admitted free. All unaccompanied teens will be required to pay the adult admission price. Pit passes are $25 each.
