Mother Nature puts an early end to night at Adams County Speedway

CORNING, IA (May 5) - Storms pushed into the area a little sooner than predicted and forced the early end to the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series night at the Adams County Speedway. Once the qualifying heats were completed, officials determined that approaching storms would not allow for the completion of the events.

Next week will start with the completion of this week’s features, then go right into another complete show. Fans will be treated to two features each for the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Whelen late models, Budweiser modifieds, Northland Oil pro streets, and NAPA hobby stocks. Gates open at 5:00, hot laps are at 6:30, and racing starts at 7:00. Admission is just $8 for adults, $6 for students, and 12 and under are free.
