Five-time and defending series champion Jeff Aikey of Cedar Falls has collected four of his tour best 47 career tour wins at West Burlington.

Burgtorf also owns bragging rights at his hometown track, where he taken the checkered flag in five of 16 series races. Rob Toland of Bettendorf has been a regular in victory lane at Quincy as well, with four Deery wins to his credit.

The series travels to Davenport Speedway on Friday, April 20, then to Jackson County Speedway in Maquoketa on Saturday, April 21 and Quad City Raceway in East Moline, Ill., on Sunday, April 22. IMCA’s regular point season for Late Models begins the following weekend.

Rain and generally cold weather combined in the cancellation of the scheduled Deery opener April 7 at Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City.
