Lucas Oil Speedway-Press Release for May 15th

WHEATLAND, MO. (May 17) - The Horsepower will be of a different kind but the 
amount will be tremendous as the Barnes PRCA Pro Rodeo makes its debut at the 
Lucas Oil Speedway this upcoming weekend May 18-19, 2007 in Wheatland, Missouri. 
The first ever Lucas Oil Spring Round-Up has over 300 contestants already pre 
entered in 7 different events.
Professional Rodeo announcer Kelly Kenney of Humansville, Missouri will get it 
all started at 7:30 p.m. both Friday and Saturday evening. The Barnes PRCA Rodeo 
is one of the longest running Professional Rodeo's on the touring circuit. Top 
rated Cowboys and Cowgirls from all across the Midwest and beyond is slated to 
compete in Bareback Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Saddle Bronc, Calf 
Roping, Barrel Racing and the ever so popular event Bull Riding.
Along with World Champion Cowboy's, the PRCA reigning World Champion Bucking 
Bull named Biloxi Blues is also slated to blast out of the bucking chutes with 
some lucky Cowboy strapped on for a memorable ride of their lifetime. Many of 
the best and rankest stock will be in action both nights.
There is more, as Rodeo great "Gizmo" McCracken, will be entertaining the 
audience with his side splitting Rodeo Humor and Zany acts. On the serious note 
of audience favorites, World Famous entertainer Vince Bruce from London, England 
will amaze the crowds with his many different rope tricks. Bruce a one of a kind 
entertainer has been amazing audiences all across the world. His family style 
entertainment always keeps the crowds wanting more.
Don't forget to check out the Midway of the Lucas Oil Speedway this weekend. 
Many vendors will be set up including the U.S. Army with a shooting range to 
check and hone you're skills at. Springfield Fight Club will also be performing 
demonstrations; don't miss the latest in Cowgirl fashions on display by Fargon 
Jewelry, plus much, much more. Be sure also to bring the kids for horse rides 
courtesy of Roy Roberts and the Wheatland Posse starting at 3:00 p.m. Saturday.
Cowboys and Cowgirls of all ages will be entertained, as after the Rodeo 
Saturday night "Trilogy" one of the hottest local bands will take center stage 
playing the best of country music for their friends and fans of the Lucas Oil 
Speedway.
Gates open 5:00 p.m. both Friday and Saturday evening for the Barnes PRCA Rodeo, 
be sure and bring a lawn chair or blanket if you like, as there will be ringside 
seating available, or sit in the luxury of the chairs at the Lucas Oil Speedway. 
Come early to dine at the Lucas Oil Speedway with a wide array of Delicious food 
and beverages. Action starts at 7:30 p.m. both nights for the 1st ever Lucas Oil 
Spring Round-Up.
